Privacy Policy
How quasar collects, uses and protects the personal data of people who visit quasarstudio.gr or get in touch. Written in line with the General Data Protection Regulation (EU) 2016/679 and Greek Law 4624/2019.

The data controller is Nikos Mouzakis, operating as a sole trader under the trading name quasar (Quasar Digital Systems Studio), based in Patras, Greece.

02What data we collect and why
quasar collects only the data needed to respond to a request and keep the site running. Data is never sold or rented to third parties.

quasar does not request or collect special categories of data and does not make automated decisions producing legal effects for you.
03Legal bases for processing
- Consent (Article 6(1)(a) GDPR): for analytics and non-essential cookies, which run only after you consent. Withdraw any time.
- Contract / pre-contractual steps (Article 6(1)(b)): when you contact quasar about a possible project.
- Legitimate interest (Article 6(1)(f)): for the security and basic operation of the site.
04Cookies and analytics
Strictly necessary cookies keep the site working (e.g. your language choice) and do not require consent. Analytics cookies from Google Analytics are set only if you consent through the consent notice. If you decline, they do not load. You can change your choice at any time.The site loads fonts from Google Fonts; your IP becomes known to Google when the fonts load, solely to deliver them. See also the Cookie Policy.
05Recipients and transfers outside the EU
Only quasar has access to your data. Limited data is processed by providers that support the site:
- Hosting provider: stores the website and server logs.
- Google (Analytics, Fonts): may process data outside the EEA, covered by the EU Standard Contractual Clauses and the EU-US Data Privacy Framework.
Data is disclosed to a public authority only where the law requires it.
06Retention
- Messages/email: kept for the duration of our exchange and, if a project follows, as long as the relationship and legal obligations require. Enquiries with no follow-up are usually deleted within 12 months.
- Analytics: in aggregate form, per the Google Analytics settings.
- Server logs: for a short period, for security.
07Your rights
As a data subject, you have the right to:
- Access the data held about you.
- Rectify inaccurate or incomplete data.
- Erase data (the "right to be forgotten").
- Restrict and object to processing.
- Portability of your data.
- Withdraw consent at any time.
To exercise any right, write to hello@quasarstudio.gr. quasar responds within one month. You may also lodge a complaint with the Greek Data Protection Authority (www.dpa.gr).
08Security
quasar applies reasonable technical and organisational measures: an encrypted connection (HTTPS), restricted access and regular updates. In the event of a breach that poses a risk to your rights, it notifies the Authority and, where required, you.
09Client project data
When quasar builds or maintains a website or tool for a client, it may process personal data on the client's behalf, as a processor. In those cases the client is the controller and a separate data processing agreement applies, as set out in the Terms of Cooperation.
10Changes and contact
